Dark ruby red, this is a thick bodied Merlot. Blueberry and red fruits mix with toasted oak notes and dark coffee. The flavors are bold and have a black pepper finish.

Merlot was tight this vintage and we only bottled one barrel of this wine. That means there was only 25 cases total. Our Merlot has been an excellent addition to our award-winning lineup. The 2016 vintage snagged 5 best of class awards. This one already has us wishing we made more. The flavors and textures are focused and pure. The wine drinks smoothly and shows the potential of Merlot from Coyote Canyon Vineyard. This vintage should age well for 7-10 years.
