Deep purple/black color. Bright fruit and floral notes, some pleasant oak tones and undertones of spice. Dark fruits, berries, violets and light rose petal notes grace the nose. The tannins give it a nice structure that will soften with age. Drink now thru 2037.

We were grateful to have access to some top notch processing equipment this vintage. We hand picked this after the cold snap and had to deal with some crusty leaves. The Pellanc destemmer worked like a charm and our fermentation was all berries. The resulting wine has great concentration, lovely aromas, and rich flavors. After fermentation the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 22 months. I ended up blending a little Cabernet Sauvignon to the wine this year. It worked well and adds some flavor and tannin to the wine.
