75% Marsanne, 16% Viognier, 9% Roussanne Aromas of dried apple, light apricot and wax give way to some amazing flavors. The first note is sweet white peach followed by orange rind, and a beeswax component. The body is medium with soft citrus notes on the finish. This wine will age well and pairs excellently with seafood, some rich dishes and Asian fair.

2023 was a unique vintage. We started the season late as a cool spring led to delayed bud break and flowering. The early season was several weeks behind and it looked like it might be a challenging vintage. Lucky for us the summer quickly warmed up and provided us with our second warmest season on record. The steady heat allowed us to catch up and start harvest in early September. The white wines had great flavors, ample acidity and perfect ripeness.
This year our Marsanne was picked right on time, surprisingly because of the cool spring and hot summer. Bud break was a couple of weeks late but we were able to catch up and loved the flavors and balance in the grapes. We machined harvested these grapes and then fermented in a stainless steel tank. I’m trying to showcase the bright fruit, medium body and slightly acidic finish. I left a little residual sugar to help highlight the fruit and soften the finish.
