Aromas of nectarine, lime, and some mild tropical notes combine for a refreshing expression. There is a light straw color to the wine with flavors that start off with stone fruit, citrus and starfruit. There is a definitive transition from the start to the finish of this wine. Light bodied with zippy finish. Excellent balance of fruit and acidity.

2024 was another great growing season for us. We started the year on the cool side, delaying budbreak and bloom in the vineyard. Once the cool spring past, things started to warm up in late June and kept cooking until harvest. We started picking our grapes in September, about a week later than average. Thankfully the weather was amazing right up until the end of October allowing for optimal ripeness.
Albariño has always been one of my favorite wines to make from the Coyote Canyon Vineyard. We have two plantings, one from 2006 and another from 2011. We pick the blocks at the same time but the older block ripens slower and has more acidity when we pick. We ferment the wine in three different vessels, each with a unique yeast. The fruit for this comes from a combination of both blocks. We picked right after Labor Day, about a week later than average. The crop load was a little heavy but the flavors were fully developed and ripeness achieved. We filtered and bottled in February 2025.
