Fall Wine Club ONLY
Aromas of melon, tangerine, and there is a sweetness in the first note, pineapple dipped in lime. The mouth feel is medium bodied with soft acidity that gives a little more length to the finish. This wine is great served chilled, pairs well with spicy dishes, summer salads, and lemon meringue pie.
The 2025 Eastern Washington wine vintage featured high-quality fruit due to manageable heat throughout the growing season. A mild start and steady heat accumulation, despite August being the 4th warmest on record, led to optimal ripening aided by cool September nights. While yields were slightly down due to drought, berry concentration, especially for Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, was exceptional. Our White grapes were picked in early September and we finished the reds in late October.
What an amazing crop of Roussanne this year, I’m super happy with the intensity of flavors packed into this wine. It is an interesting block to analyze because there are a lot of leaves, to help shade the fruit, and the clusters are kind of tight, it doesn’t always look the prettiest, but it has consistently produced high quality fruit. We machine harvest the grapes and ferment them in a stainless steel tank. After fermentation the wine is racked, blended, adjusted, filtered, and finally bottled.
