This light-bodied white wine from the Horse Heaven Hills is a refreshing expression, presenting a light straw color and aromas of nectarine, lime, and tropical notes. The palate offers a transition from stone fruit and citrus to starfruit, all balanced by zippy acidity and a crisp finish.
The 2025 Eastern Washington wine vintage featured high-quality fruit due to manageable heat throughout the growing season. A mild start and steady heat accumulation, despite August being the 4th warmest on record, led to optimal ripening aided by cool September nights. While yields were slightly down due to drought, berry concentration, especially for Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, was exceptional. Our White grapes were picked in early September and we finished the reds in late October.
What an amazing crop of Marsanne this vintage, I’m super happy with the intensity of flavors packed into this wine. We machined harvested the grapes and fermented the wine in a stainless steel tank. This vintage the wine is showing a soft complexity. I blended a little Roussanne and Viognier into the wine to add depth and complexity to the final blend.
