The wine presents a rich, luminous ruby-red color in the glass. Aromatically expressive, it showcases classic Coyote Canyon cherry character, unfolding in layers from dark, ripe Rainier cherry tones to vibrant, bright Bing cherry flavors. The interplay between depth and freshness creates a beautifully balanced profile. Lush yet lively, this wine is poised to delight with its generous fruit and refined elegance.
2024 was a great vintage. Similar to the 2023 season our spring was a little cool which led to delayed bud break and flowering. We quickly caught up as the heat units started to rise in mid June, and really go cooking through July and August. We picked our first grapes at the end of August and really got rolling in September. The white wines had great acidity and all the sugar we needed. As we headed into October we began picking our red wines. The flavors are on point and this should be a great vintage.
We wanted to do something special for America’s Centennial, so we came up with this delicious blend. Each component was picked and fermented separately. I love blending these varietals together. Our Cabernet has great structure, cherry notes and lots of tannin. The Sangiovese brings brightness and zip to the wine while the Merlot rounds out the mid palate.
